182839 - A New Strategy for Vibration Test Tailoring Based on Mission Profile Analysis
In this study, the profile synthesis technique was used to determine the vibration profile of military aircraft equipment under two distinct transport and usage scenarios. This made it possible to create a laboratory test profile that reflected every vibrational environment that the equipment would encounter over the course of its lifetime. The overall vibration profile includes transportation conditions by rail, road, sea, and air. The vibration life profile was derived from test measurements data (propeller aircraft and helicopter) and MIL-STD-810H Department of Defense Test Method Standard. The ERS (extreme response spectrum) and FDS (fatigue damage spectrum) spectra were used as references in creating PSD (power spectral density) profile. NCODE Glyphworks 2024 software was used to synthesize the life profile in the study. A new approach to electromechanical equipment was established at the end of the study. The strategy was determined using the DEF00-35 standard's critical frequency ranges for electronic equipment. It is advised that hybrid test profiles developed in accordance with various fatigue curves (Basquin's exponent) be used for laboratory testing in such a scenario. Finally, optimum usage scenario was proposed based on fatigue damage spoectrum of two different endurance vibration test profiles.
